- Where is your office located and hours of operation?
- Buzz Custom Fence’s corporate office is located at 5104 W. Vickery Blvd in Fort Worth. Our customer service staff is here to help you from 8am-5pm Mon-Fri and from 9am-12pm on Sat.
- Do you use treated pickets?
- Yes, if requested. We usually recommend cedar but find special uses for spruce and treated pine.
- Do you build the fence and then stain it? What about sealing it?
- Yes, usually our fences are built prior to being stained however; we also use pre-stained pickets that are a special order item. This allows the pickets to completely dry.
- For a better look and the possibility of extending the life of your fence, we recommend staining or clear seal.
- How long will I have to wait before my fence is installed?
- The average wait to get your fence installed is 1 to 2 weeks during Non-Peak Season and 2 to 4 weeks during Peak Season (April – July). For special circumstances (pools, liability issues) we can offer our services faster.
- Do you use cedar pickets?
- We highly recommend cedar pickets. Cedar pickets have the longest life expectancy of other types of wood. Cedar is more resistant to moisture damage and wood destroying insects.
- Who locates property lines and do I need a survey?
- A survey is usually not needed if we are putting the fence back on the existing fence line; however the homeowner is usually responsible for locating the property line, if needed.
- Is there design help available?
- Yes, our sales representatives are here with 40 years of experience to help you with specific design needs. We have various types of material and styles that allow you endless alternatives to fit your needs. We also offer drawings and photographs to make it easier for you to have that perfect fence.
- Do you use steel posts?
- In most cases, steel posts are used unless a special request is made by the customer. Materials vary based on the design, structure and custom design.
- What types of fence do you build?
- A better question is what type of fence does Buzz Fence NOT build? Our company specializes in wood, iron, chain link, composite, vinyl, aluminum, masonry and specialty fences. Basically, we can build any type of enclosure.
- What are the areas of town where you work?
- Our representatives cover the entire metroplex, (this includes the outlying areas of DFW, neighboring counties and even our neighboring states).
